Prayer Points:

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1Peter1:3

*Praise God for this season of Springtime when we witness new life in the natural world:

"For the beauty of the earth, for the beauty of the skies....for the love which from our birth, over and around us lies.

Christ, our God to thee we raise this our sacrifice of praise!"

*As the Easter season approaches, thank Him that new life in nature is nothing compared to His mercy toward us as we read in the  bible verse above: that we are born again into a living hope through Jesus death and resurrection.

*Give thanks that His mercies are new every morning and that no matter what we are going through as individuals or as a church,  we can trust His provision of all we need and His presence to guide.

*Pray this especially for those who are grieving the death of a loved one in recent days; may they be blessed and comforted through their pain. May we, as their church family, be led as to how best to be part of their support network.

*Pray for those taking Sunday's services, that Lucas de Costa and Rev Cowan may be guided in their preparation and that God would, through them, bring closer to Him all who listen.

*Ask God's blessing on the GB and BB giving thanks for the opportunities to connect with children/young people from the locality.

As parents/relatives attend their displays, may the items speak the love of God into their hearts.

*Re world peace, pray that the flame of hope will keep burning in our hearts.

-That governments and leaders would abandon aggression for dialogue.

-That UK and other countries would make wise decisions as they face political pressure address economic turmoil.

It may seem early to be organising leaders and helpers however to ensure we are inline with the new regulations set out by Church House and so that everyone can be involved who wants to be, it is best to start now. One of the changes we need to be aware of is that all 16 & 17 year old helpers MUST go through the Access NI process and attend Taking Care Training.

If you are available and willing to be a leader or helper at one of the above please speak to Jemma or put your name on the sign up sheet.

If you have any questions about the above, please speak to Jemma or Heather Montgomery.

Heating Requests: if you have any hall or church heating requests please contact Sam Whiteside.

Connect: Connect runs every Thursday morning from 10.30am. We provide tea and coffee, scones, games of pool, armchair aerobics, crafts and many other activities.  We also like to sit and chat over a coffee. Why not come along and join in? Everyone will be made very welcome. If you require any further information please speak to Heather Campbell or Danny Todd.
